With Easter just around the corner, what better time to explore the hidden 'Easter Eggs' in cars?
Surprised? And no, we're not talking about chocolate eggs wrapped in golden foil. Imagine the thrill of getting the keys to your new car and discovering a hidden physical detail in its design or a digital secret in the infotainment system.
While you might already be familiar with many of the more digital Easter Eggs in Teslas, we're excited to share some cool physical details you might not know about already.
'Easter Eggs' in five cars
Jeep Avenger - Lady Bird
If you drive a Jeep Avenger, you probably think you’ve found all the features already. But if you take a look on the roof molding of Jeep’s first electric car, you’ll find a little lady bird. There’s no real need for it, it’s just an extra detail that they’ve added for fun, and we think it’s really cute!
SKODA - Umbrella and Ice Scraper
This is kind of a two in one you lucky readers! TWO of the best features in the latest SKODA cars are an umbrella that’s hidden in the driver side door, and an ice scraper that’s kept on the inside of the fuel cap. These thoughtful additions are perfect for those unexpected weather changes.
BYD Dolphin - Shopping Bag Hook
Shopping bag hooks might not sound exciting, but they’re incredibly practical. In the BYD Dolphin, you’ll find these hooks cleverly placed in the passenger’s foot well, right by the glove box. They’re actually hidden away, so you have to push in one side and turn it around all the way for the hook to appear. It’s a small touch that makes a big difference in everyday convenience.
Jaguar e-Pace – Jaguar and its cub on windscreen
The Jaguar E-Pace has a delightful Easter egg that’s easy to miss. Look closely at the bottom corner of the windscreen, and you’ll see a silhouette of a jaguar and its cub. It’s a charming nod to the brand’s iconic logo and adds a touch of personality to the car.
Renault Twingo RS – pause, stop, and play pedals
The Renault Twingo RS has a playful set of pedals that mimic the symbols for pause, stop, and play. It’s a fun detail that adds a bit of character to the driving experience and makes you smile every time you get behind the wheel. This model was discontinued, so it’s not actually available to buy brand-new but there’s probably still a few around if you’re looking for a used car.
