Exmouth Festival

Paignton Festival
Thursday 1st August
Set on Paignton Green and Seafront in the middle of Paignton Carnival Week, Paignton Festival is a free family fun day run by dedicated volunteers. Experience a day of fun ending with glorious fireworks set against the South West sea.
Buckfast Abbey Summer Fair
Thursday 1st – Saturday 3rd August
If you’re looking for a day filled with fun, food, and festivities set in a stunning location, the Buckfast Abbey Summer Fair is for you. Meet baby alpacas from Lakemore, get up close and personal with tropical creatures from Animal Encounters, and experience the magic of live music while browsing the stalls.
Sidmouth Folk Festival

Championing traditional music, dance and song for its 70th year, Sidmouth Folk Festival continues to celebrate many years of success in embracing variety, inclusivity and community with the diversity of folk arts in the UK.
Denbury Flower, Produce, Art and Craft Show
Saturday 3rd August
The annual Flower, Produce, Art and Craft show returns to Denbury this August, with the promise of all things floral. There will also be organic fruit and vegetables, photography, poetry, baking, and craftwork. Opening at 2pm with free entry, the show includes a raffle, refreshments, and presentations at 4pm.
British Firework Championships
Wednesday 14th – Thursday 15th August
Six of Britain’s top firework companies will be competing in the UK’s number one pyrotechnic competition in Plymouth’s annual British Firework Championship. Head to Plymouth Hoe for the prime viewing area of best firework display of the year.
Shaldon Regatta
Sunday 18th – Monday 26th August
The annual Shaldon Regatta has been providing entertainment for the whole family for over 200 years. There are over 130 events scheduled, many of which take place on Shaldon beach. Even if you’re not a rower or sailor, you can still take part in activities for all the family set against the backdrop of the River Teign and Teignmouth.
